Telecare lets chronic patients share vital parameters with their GP as they measure them. It shipped through COVID monitoring programmes and heart failure pathways, where late data is the same as no data.

02

Project

Telecare is a telemonitoring application that allows chronic patients receiving home care to collect and communicate vital parameter data to their General Practitioners in real time. Data can be entered manually or collected through connected medical devices.

The main product challenge was collecting accurate health data while avoiding unnecessary anxiety for patients.

  • What data must be collected for effective telemonitoring?
  • How can we guarantee data accuracy without alarming users?
  • How can we ensure that device-generated data is accurate and not altered?
